Ok back in OIF 1 I flew a mission up to Kurdistan and landed at the major political party's headquarters. See pic below.
We were treated very well, given a nice little dinner of rice, lamb (I hope), sauce, and some absolutely horrible tea. I'm serious, this tea had to be the worst tasting stuff I've ever had the displeasure of tasting. Anyway, sometime after the dinner and before we left each of use were given the following two patches. We were told that the yellow patch with the eagle is for the Kurdish Special Forces (they had a special/distinctive name but I can't remember what it is) and the second patch had something to do with the political party, I think it may have been their body guards or something.
