Anything without the field dressing pocket on the right upper arm has the potential to have been 'Down South'. Your third and last smocks look the most likely candidates duwe to the colouring of the pattern.

Nice collection but get the SF para wings off the smock. They would NEVER have been worn on combat clothing. Only on barrack and parade uniforms. Neutral

thank you very much for your comments
sorry but I do not know that means "down south" in this case
I see almost the same camo, in the third and final smock
then the right sleeve pocket was introduced in 1984, that good thing; imagine camo 84 would also be applied to these items, along with the combat smock
In these images of Falklands, we can see both wings as patches DZ
    was prohibited by the rules?
Thank you very much and greetings

Jesus, "Down South" relates to the Falklands conflict,or English slang for the Falklands at least, and your reference pictures clearly show that Para wings were indeed worn during this conflict, not just on parade dress..good evidential pictures my friend Wink

The guy with his back to us in the 2nd photo wearing a para smock, the same print can be seen in the OP post 2nd smock. The image of the guys beaver tail shows a brown shape that usually has a tan V in it, the OP 2nd jacket has this, so too has my latest 77pat smock.

So goes to show not all light print smock as thought were used around this time period.

Which sleeve pocket is the significant one? Left or right (relative to the wearer)?\

That's a nice lineage with some P77 examples it seems. I'm still hunting for a mint example.
