saltefanden,
Tak! Er det ikke sådan at de danske soldater brænder tøj, der er behandlet med permethrin, før tilbagevenden til Danmark?

Mmmh, not to my knowledge.
Permethrin is 'legal' in Denmark, you can even buy moth or other insect repellants that contains it.
The Norwegians however, I believe, cannot bring back their treated desert uniforms ( and don't recieve them before stationing) because permathrin figures on their national no-no-list.
Er du dansk?

I must have confused it with the Norwegian regulations.
Nej, jeg er ikke dansk. Jeg var udvekslingsstudent til Danmark for 24 år siden og husker lit dansk.

Hi,
I love the current Danish patterns, especially the ripstop variations,
but am not certain how the sizes run.
For example, I have a pair of "Balkan" type trousers sized 9. I am a US Large.
The 9s are "snug". Would a 10 be larger, or would an 8 be larger ?
I also have 2 shirts. One is a size 13, the other 15. The 13 seems larger.
I am very confused. Can anyone enlighten me ????
Thanks, ripcord....

Dear ripcord, PM me and I can send you a Danish Army size chart, for what it's worth.
I know our sizing is a bit arcane...

Hey Carl,
Seems I have missed this post.
Very cool UBACS, and shorts....
Have a desert UBACS , but have not seen the shorts before.
They look to be very well built and durable...Just like the rest of Danish made kit...
Love this pattern, thanks for posting ....
