    Philippine Defense Medal Empty Philippine Defense Medal

    Recently acquired this Philippine made Defense medal. Like the Liberation medal, the Defense medal originally started life as a ribbon only award. Not until 1945 was it changed to an actual medal.
    This example is marker marked from El Oro, a company that produced numerous
    awards for the Philippine government. Enjoy!
