Nice one. Definitely not BGS. Likely a 1950s Polizei or other law enforcement related jacket. Unfortunately the documentation of that period is poor and a number of otherwise very well informed Polizei collectors have difficulty with these sometimes.
Check the left inside chest pocket for a label. Very often there is one and it usually has a date on it. That's at least a place to start.
