Have had around 6-7 of these over the years(kept 4)and never seen a grey one before and also never seen one with the sweatband stamped with the Iraqi MOD stamp so quite chuffed with this one.

Now have a black, green, grey and desert coloured one.

Yes the Iraqi Property mark on the sweatband is very unusual indeed!!!!

Not seen a Grey one before either, not too sure if it is Airforce or Navy, either way cool lid Mate!

But with all my examples ,yours has the usual Arabic script scrawled inside...some with capitalists, and the west in general, blah de blah!!!

These helmets actually were made in Jordan for Iraq under military contract. Yes this is air force helmet because I have the complete web gear set and helmet with exact tags. These arent as common as they once were but many have the tags and prints just worn off the helmet.

Complete with rim and looks to be in very good condition so cannot wait for it to arrive(fingers crossed).

Only think missing now is an Iraqi PASGT but am not actively searching for one Wink

the higher quality M80's were mfg in South Korea, but some of the later inferior quality models like the ones with the cheap rubber bumper around the edge were most likely made by Iraq or Jordon

many were made by South Korea for export and some were locally produced but of lower quality construction which is easy to identify just by the crude quality.
