Just wondering if anyone could tell me any information on what I have here. I found a plaque in an USMC officer's footlocker along with many other items I purchased at a sale today. Most items were from the 1950's-1960's. I can't seem to find another one online anywhere. The black part of the plaque is wood and I believe that the silver/painted part is cast aluminum. The back has no markings. It says Chinhae Korea, USN, Naval Advisory Board. It also says W.L. McGonagle GYGST USMC Feb. 1966 Mar. 1967 on the bottom. I tried to upload pics but the forum won't allow it since I am a new member, if there is anyway around this, please let me know. It is very difficult to describe without photos. (ok, temporary fix....my pic on here is the plaque)
Thank you
