I've been trying to make sense of the various Greek Airforce patterns. Based on my 4 examples and the ones here, I have determined there are 6 variations represented:
There seems to be 2 distinct underlying patterns. The first (top left) is based on the older Greek pattern which is a less sophisticated Lizard pattern. Meaning, the shapes are more rounded and less fine compared to the second type that is based more closely on French Lizard. The remaining 5 patterns appear to be variations in terms of which colors are printed for each of the screens. This produces a very wide range of overall looks.
The all share two common traits; 3 colors and one color is a shade of blue. The more recent ones appear to have a very vivid purple interior color.
There are also color variations from print runs. I received a uniform in it's original Chinese bags and identical tags, but there's a subtle difference in color strength between the jacket and trousers. So much so that at first glance I thought they might be different variants. In the end I determined they are the same, just slightly different colors.
