Eastern block pattern...

i was offered this set, but i know very little about soviet/eastern bloc items...

anybody could give me a little help?
is this something interesting or basically a common TTsKO uniform? the guy says is from belarus, but i don't remember ever seeing this pattern in any belarusian uniforms...

Looks like a 'Butan' pattern, well faded.

Agree. And it could be Belarus, I think, since they tend to use the same uniforms as Russia. Lots of variety to these patterns. Likely early 1990s.

thanks a lot for the info... i wasn't sure what pattern that was even thou it was very familiar... pic quality is a bit rough.

nothing really special i would say... i'll need to check the stamps inside to know where this is actually from

Here is example of original belarussian uniform from 90s

This one from pic look like working cloths. For example there are black not green buttons. The uniform is used and is possible to check if it military. Just check a collar. There should be a trace of sewing. One more camo print little bit different

And one more if it from airborne or SF collar is open to make "telnjashka" visible and trace bend on it visible too

Doesn't look like the Belorussian "butane" to me, which is the same type of pattern as the so-called Moldovan. This is more likely one of these early Latvian sets, worth picking up if you can get it for a reasonable price.
