Dont know quite where to post these photos, but as I have been told that some units of the Italian Armed forces actually used this pattern, I will post it here.
I always thought this is a commercial product, can anyone comment ???

never seen anyone with this uniform...
SOD http://www.sodgear.com/ is better than defcon and it's used by a lot of italian soldiers, sailors and airmen ( sof included)

I am familiar with SOD, very nice products, but very expensive. Still, I am fiending for one of
the veg parkas. I got close to acquiring one recently, but not close enough, it did not work out.
Always looking for genuine Italian camo, so hopefully, one day I will find the right contact.

Hi Ripcord! The multiland camouflage is an experimental pattern for many Italian Special Forces. Defcon5 took the contract with Italian Defence Ministery and it is the only one that produces this uniform. Now, it's a commercial pattern, not used by army.

In May there is a military exhibition in Milan, it's a very big event for the military collectors, reenact and softgunners. If I find it, I will tell!

So... Still haven't seen any photo of Multiland on military personnel (as I heard testing was failed).
However, Defcon really had goverment contract. And vegetata combat shirts even were used for a while by Alpini in Afghanistan. But for a quite poor quality not so long. I also used D5 CS for some training and than sold it quickly. Because of the same reason. IMHO
