Nice. From my experience that's not a common camo pattern variant for a TAP 47/56 jacket.

well in a way it is
But i have a pretty hard time finding the israeli ones, and for the most i've seeing of the Israeli ones it has the more common "dense" stripes than your sample and also the "reddish" coloration to it... might be just my perception, but that's what i usually see when i think of Israel lizard jackets...

Gilles has documented a fair number of variations, but the two basic branches are dense and sparse. Different models had different combinations of the patterns, sometimes multiple types on one uniform. But for TAP 47/56 jackets, as this one is, the vast majority of them are the dense type. I've had 4 or 5 in my hands over the years and seen countless others. It's not common at all to find the sparse type.
Your example is in decent condition considering it was an Israeli reissue.
Gilles will have to come along and make a better identification because I'm not very good at the specifics.

Nice TAP variation !
Could be a 3 rd. pattern , and a match for these trousers.
If anyone knows for sure , Gilles is the man..

As I now have a few of these jackets and in all honesty have no interest at all in the various different lizard patterns and all these are to me are lizard camo tap jackets,if anybody is interested in this one please feel free to make me an offer. Thanks.
