DPM Combat Smock-Very Dark Colours??

Not collecting NZ items as such but just picked this up and very surprised to see how dark the DPM print is and also the fabric,sort of like British Tropical material but slightly thicker.

My poxy camera strikes again,colours in reality are much darker than they show up here.

80,s issue Action man DPM, with a old dig fade to it. Much brighter when newer, photos in other NZ threads.

Having given the jacket a good looking over and checking inside the pockets etc at the material that isnt exposed,dont think it has faded much in all honesty,just my crappy camera giving that impression maybe?

We had the pants made from the same material in 88. They didn't really fade except for where we had to iron creases. The material was some sort of denim (well it felt like it) totally unsuitable for field wear.
