I saw this on Ebay but I think it is one of those Iraqi composite helmets not a US WWII liner but I may be wrong. Opinions please.

Hi Graham, my first thought was " how much" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like a Hawley liner, I would not be so sure about the the Period paint job though!

I see what you mean about it being an Iraqi M-80, the thickness of the liner looks that way.

The Riddell liner is significantly different than the Iraqi ( well South Korean ) versions in quality etc.

Wayyyyyyy to pricey, I don't care if Eisenhower wore it !!

I was thinking the price was steep

If it is a genuine Hawley then from what I can gather while yes to me it would be a price I would never dream of paying I dont think its expensive.
