First off it's a reproduction. I got it a few months back off eBay for a steal. I've recently become more interested in uniforms from the late 1700s and early 1800s era. I can't nearly afford the rare originals so reproductions are the best bet (I plan on trying to make my own). The seller had a bunch of them left over from a failed TV pilot that ran out of money. I've been after just a coat for years and. I got the whole uniform for under the price of most jackets online alone. The detail is great, figured I'd show it here as there aren't to many postings of things like this recently.
