I obtained this suit from Dennis Desmond some time ago. I have never seen the pattern any where else. It could be military or it could be for a hunter. Quality is good and the cut is clearly military, including the knife pocket on the pants. What do you think?

Have also seen this cut on a VSR 'aviation suit'. A close-up and clearer picture of the badge may yield some clues ...

MVD according to the arm patch. There are a few more of these oddball patterns that have yet to surface in any private collection. I've seen single pieces, but this is a really nice complete set. Very cool!

    Any stamps/labels?

No stamps or labels, but there is also a matching cap which I will post a photo of shortly.

This appears to be the same structure and pattern in a different colour mix. The photo is too low definition to make out the insignia but the flag on the right arm looks like an upside down Estonian flag. Does anyone recognise the suit or badges?

I have answered my own question. As you can see in the photo it is a Russian flag with what looks like a Spetnaz chest badge.

Very cool pattern, I have seen it before on a pair of very faded trousers, but not in such a good shape!
    Congratulations!
