    Now have 2 French US WW2 type greatcoats and only noticed that one is quite a bit shorter than the other. Were there 2 different types/lengths? The "normal" length one has plain grey type metal buttons,the shorter one has plain brass buttons.

    The shorter one also has some green felt backed eppaulette slip ons.

    Any ideas please?
