Canadian type buttons are used on current types; also on current M98s ..

This looks like an updated version of the 1st ripstop version..

Hi Rip,

Great stuff!  That under armor shirt is fantastic.

Based on our previous conversations the 6 pocket style is apparently still called M2002 (M02), despite the fact it's gone through several significant modifications (original + 3 revisions by my count).  Latest I've seen is 2012.

Yup, that one is on this Forum somewhere. Only one I've ever seen as far as I know. The one in the picture is the smooth version, which is known to be legit. The questions have been raised about the ripstop version, which seems to be legit but there's some contradictory views on that.

The uniform in the photo is the ripstop version.

I have enlarged the photo: it has the familiar grid pattern..

Waiting for one of the cotton version ( like Alex's ), will do a comparison when it arrives.

Another type of ripstop uniform that predates the slant pocket types and I believe is still in service.

Unfortunately, not issue.   They look comfy, and the fabric colors looks good, but are definitely commercial..

There is also the desert camo in this cut out there. For sure comfy but as rip told, not issued ones.
Most likely made out of surplus fabric IMHO.

this guy states, that is "presumably" was made for norw. forces...., but i dont think so.

One good clue is that there are no Norwegian ripstop uniforms designated M98.

Am I right in that issued Norwegian uniforms as seen above are based on the US BDU?
What material is used in these tissues, and how works the NOarmy sizing system?
