Could be a little earlier dated too, as I'm not entirely sure when some parts were first used, but such setups at least appear in photos from an exercise in 2017 that can be seen here:

Dutch unidentified unit, Afghanistan, unknown year (most likely mid-2000's).

Quick comment about this set and it's lacking title:
I've no idea what I based this set on when I made it months ago. I've been waiting to post the photos of this set online for quite some time in the hope of finding a pic I thought I had based it on
but sadly I couldn't find it anymore so now I'll just call it a generic Dutch army or marines set, though I'm leaning more towards the marines as they used more Arktis gear and Eagle legholsters like this.

    Gear:
Late type M92 Desert boonie hat with wire edge
3-Color Desert camo Arktis B??? smock (no idea what model number, might even be a KCT custom order) (Frysian flag is custom embroidered)
3-Color Desert trilaminaat pants (late type)
Rankslides (not visible but I've included an army and a marines slide for the chest loop)
Khaki round ISAF patch (Dari type) and khaki rectangular ISAF patch (Pashto type)
    Tan flyers gloves
    DPM Arktis 1600 type battlevest
Karabiner hook with green tape around it
    3-Color Desert Arktis hydration pack
    Tan Specops brand riggerbelt
    Woodland Eagle Industries legholster
    Tan Specops brand knifesheath
Dutch DPM M93 BG9002 radio pouch
    Unknown weaponsling
M92 desert boots (full speedlace version)

    In the background:
DPM Arktis handguard and stock covers
    Tan Specops brand magazinepouch

    Netherlands KCT boarding team, 2008(?)-2013.

Not entirely sure of the earliest year this was used in this combination, but 2008 is a more common early date on some of the pouches though 1
of them is already dated 2006, so that might already be correct too.

    Gear:
Rabintex RBH303AU helmet with NVG shroud (modified or late type chinstrap with napepad)
    Black 1-hole balaclava
    Fire-retardant khaki flyers coverall
    Hatch operator gloves (long type)
Plastic arm-notebook panel (for maritime use)
ISPL vest "Dutch S/F Tactical Waistcoat"
    ISPL zip-on life preserver
4 ISPL QR buckles tied on (for attaching a rebreather)
ISPL carrying strap for steel wire ladder
    ISPL double 5,56mm magazinepouch
    ISPL flare and hookknife pouch
ISPL righthand holster panel with Safariland holster
    ISPL universal radiopouch small footprint
    ISPL triple small grenade pouch
    ISPL inflation cylinder pouch
    ISPL large watertight bag
    ISPL triple MP5 magazinepouch
Khaki Safariland 6004-834 Oerlikon light module leg holster
    ISPL legpanel with 2 legstraps
    ISPL hydration/stripcharge pouch
    ISPL double pistol magazinepouch
    Wellco black jungleboots

Here's 2 reference pics that are from the later range of these years as it shows the use of the HK416.
Also seen are black body armors which apparently nobody can identify so if I ever do find out the type and I can find it, I might add it then.

They used to be extremely rare, but in the last few years they have started appearing more.
A friend of mine has at least 1 for sale for cheap if you want it, we can work out the details on facebook or DM if you'd like it

    Dutch Marine Corps, 1995 - late 1990's

    Gear:
Mid-late 1990's type M87 DPM winter hat (windproof fabric, reinforced stitching on the sunflap, English language label but not British made)
DPM Berghaus waterproof MVP uniform (1990 made, British army type label but no contractcode)
Woodland Arktis early type M171 Chestrig (3 Magpouches and bandagepouch at the left 1 + utilitypouch at the right, possibly a custom order type?)
Small flashlight and whistle on a cord tied to the zipper (stowed inside the vest’s inner pocket)
    Black M90 boots

Dutch army loadout displays (cold war era) - Page 6 Neder123
Dutch army loadout displays (cold war era) - Page 6 Neder122

Those Berghaus waterprood suits are a funny thing, they havea label inside that looks almost entirely like a normal British issue label for an MVP uniform at the time,
the NSN is actually the same as said issued MVP uniform which was somewhat different in cut, but there is no contractcode on it at all.
Below it is a Berghaus label with batchnumbers and QC stuff.
For some reason I keep seeing these suits appear here, mostly used by Dutch marines, as my 2 pieces were bought on separate occasions and were used by marines.

More amazing displays Michel, thanks for sharing! I hope one day to be able to set up some display mannequins half as nice as you do yours.
The attention to detail, kit listing, lighting, framing and positioning are all terrific. Can't imagine these don't cost you a fair bit to put together either! Especially with Dutch kit being fairly unfamiliar to me, it's great to get a visual of how it all looks put together.

Thanks! I put a lot of work into getting these sets right and then taking good photos of them too, I'm very happy with the backdrop I have now, with nails in the wall to show more
extra gear, unlike how I used to have to change where I take photos every now and then, and had less options to display extra's.
Of course it's still always trial and error, and I have to think of new ways to make things work, and sometimes after taking photos I'm doubting about some details maybe adding
more stuff and reshooting it because I can be an obsessive perfectionist at times, but it's still fun to set all this stuff up like this for others to appreciate!

As far as the Dutch kit goes, luckily here in Holland it's way easier to find both the stuff itself and reference and info on them, though I can imagine that our stuff can seem pretty
obscure from the standpoint of someone from a huge country that fields loads and loads of well-documented gear. Probably feels like how I think about South-American stuff, nothing
from there is around here, pretty much nobody collects it or even knows about it, but then I see guys making loadouts from countries like Brazil, Argentina or Chile and I'm just baffled
at how they'd even find half of it Smile

And to pad this thread out even more, my latest:

Netherlands Airmobile Brigade, 2013-2014 (13 Infbat Aaslt, Regiment Stoottroepen)

Love the pattern and looks to be a very sensible setup.

I think the same, but the hipbelt could do with some mesh on the inside though

These are some awesome displays Michel.  Thanks for taking the time to set them up and post the pictures,  I really appreciate the detailed lists. I have been looking for details on what the Dutch Marines wear but had not found much even in the the book "The Marinier en zijn Uniform".

    Thank you!
Dutch marines are for sure underrepresented in books etc.
Especially the modern era, loads of stuff on the army can be found and the marines also have some very small special units that almost never appear in photos.
    Here's another set!

    Netherlands Marine Corps (Marsof?), 2015+

    Lowe Alpine Goretex winterhat
Carinthia “Waterproef” (mistake on the labels) uniform (with early type jacket)
Profile Equipment Gen1,5 Multi-Ops platecarrier with option to attach a loadbearing cummerbund
2 Softarmor platebackers in plate shape (1 with Marom Dolphin on the label, the other not)
    Unknown brand 1-point sling
PE small square unknown pouch (compass?)
PE double double magazine pouch (2X2 mags)(early type MOLLE)
PE double magazine pouch (1X2 mags)(early type MOLLE)
PE radiopouch type with elastic loops on the front (late type MOLLE)
    PE small utility pouch
PE Tear-Off medical pouch (late type MOLLE)(pouch itself has a zipper front pocket)
    Warrior Assault Systems rollup dumppouch
    Meindl M1 boots

    In the background:
Black “Hipora” inner- and outer-gloves with original plastic bag
Unknown Woodland camo legholster with small label with only an NSN
PE single opentop HK417 magazinepouch (late type MOLLE)
PE double magazine pouch (1X2 mags)(late type MOLLE)
Eagle Industries NL medical pouch with velcro sewn on the back as tear-off mod
Arwy Forest camo 120L backpack (Lowe Alpine Saracen type), weird early(?) 2009 type

Thanks for another great post Michel.
The best source I have found for current news about the Marines is the quarterly QPO magazine that has some great pictures. Unfortunately it rarely gives details on specific pieces of gear.

Oh yes that's a good option for current photos, do they already show the transition to the Dutch NFP camo there?
The marines wear a distinctive mix of the new NFP stuff along with their older marine corps specific stuff.

Also, time for a new set!

Netherlands Airforce ground troops, early-mid 1950’s

Bluegrey sidecap (fold-down type) with KLu badge
    Bluegrey battledress uniform
Bluegrey “Je Maintiendrai” sleevepatch (instead of the army’s yellow type)
    Grey M47 or M52 braces/shoulderstrap
Grey M47 or M52 braces/shoulderstrap (more blueish coloration)
    Grey M52 belt
    2 Grey M47 basic pouches
    British P37(?) bayonetfrog
Grey K-gasmask bag with 1 legstrap
British Mk7 water bottle in Dutch grey carrier (might be M47?)
    German WW2 style folding shovel
Leather shovelcarrier with grey webbing parts
    Bluegrey wirecutterpouch with wirecutter
    Grey anklets with leather straps
“Ammo” boots (either Dutch made or British made Dutch reissue)

    In the background:
Bluegrey sidecap (non-folding type of the dressuniform) with KLu badge
    Bluegrey sidecap (non-folding type)

So I was not sure if the KLu carried the shovel/e-tool hanging or upside down, so I made photos of both options to be sure.
I actually have exactly 0 photos of airforce soldiers wearing any shovels but seeing as the actual carriers exist in the typical grey color I wanted to put it on there anyway.

So because this set is a bit earlier than my KL battledress set I had to think of how to hang it.
The KL switched to the upside down manner at some point, but there are photos of trialled webbing systems from earlier where the shovels are hanging down, here is 1 such photo where a mix of British, US and Dutch pieces are worn together.
Here are 2 photos showing 2 different configurations of trial webbing, 1 with British, US and Dutch webbing part together and the other more British and Dutch.

Another wonderful display Michel! The webbing looks great when it is all pieced together and paired with the correct uniform, even with the differently colored webbing bits. And great photos of the mixed origin webbing being worn together.
