Unknown reversible camouflage ski cap?

I bought this reversible ski style cap in Leibermuster style camouflage at a military fair for $15.00. The person that sold it to me didn't know what it was either. The ski cap is super small (toddler size) on my 60cm head without any markings. Could be possibly postwar?

Don't throw that one away

What you have there is an original Spanish Army M58 reversible cap. It was made in the late 1950s and early 1960s, is very difficult to find, and very valuable to the right collector. The child size is normal for the Spanish at the time as they had undergone a horrible famine and other problems due to the Civil War and Franco's rule after. Finding anything larger than a size 54 or 56 is tough to do. Not sure they even made them larger than 58, but I suppose it's possible.

You did very well at $15, that's for sure.
