    An awesome pattern, and only once have I seen it for sale, and lost out. This was an MVD pattern?

    Gilles, this is the later model, used in the second Chechen conflict and forward, 1999+.

    The fabric is denser with a higher poly ratio and sprayed with something to make it water repellent.

    There were several pieces of webbing made in the above patterns over the years, beginning with the Storm-1 vest in 1995, lightweight and highly adjustable with a large storage capacity:





    The Storm-2 model appeared later, approx. 1998 and had several minor improvements in the hardware used:
