They are custom, there is no operational requirement for a Para Smock at the moment, one because the S2005/PCS Smocks have been cleared for jumping and because the Paras also have retained their CS95 uniforms.
However, I'd like one to be made, as MTP/PCS kit just generalises the army.

There is an MTP issue para smock. It just hasn't been issued yet. I've seen the garment. Defo not a made-up piece.
Whether it goes on general issue or not is anyone's guess.

On one of the WW2 reenactment forums theres a guy who makes hand painted early WW2 repro Denisons and from memory when last time one of these MTP smocks was spotted it came out that it was a custom jobby made by him-PEGASUS DRIVE i think is the name he goes by.

There are plenty of non issue MTP para smocks but, at the risk of repeating myself, there are a precious few issue ones but they have yet to go on general issue and may never ............
