Re: Greek Army webbing
It's too bad that the original Greek items are ruined with "US" markings.
I have seen those rucksacks for sale on Greek Ebay - unfortunately, they are kind of bulky to ship over the Altantic...

yes! many belts...they were taking the war seriously...training was intense & military service very long...the army was huge...a big conscripts army...Τhere were too many different sets & missmatched items from WWII all the way to the 70s-80...there were still in use many different new & old weapons...they were thinking of ways
to make all these british & US different things interchangeable & compatible...back in the day they were repairing & reworking older mint or worn out gear...nothing was wasted...it was a serious army & a serious logistics...they were trying to put everything in order...!!!

Re: Greek Army webbing
Well I have a Portuguese M64 set and it has a fabric slide keeper, not metal.
And about Dutch belts, army belts have this closure, but the actual belt itself is British model with 1 row of eyelets, and then the marines version is the US M36 type belt with US M56 type buckle.
If it is actually Belgian then it must be from the very late years of it's production since some details are very different from the belts that I remember having

Re: Greek Army webbing
The female snap appears original to the belt, and since it appears unused, reenacting seems unlikely. My best guess, based on where Michel found it, as well as the appearance of the canvas, and the finish on the hardware, is Dutch marines. I would rule out Greek origin. Belgium is possible I suppose, although there would be no need for the snap in that case.
