TTsKO Hats

Hi all, picked these hats up at a gun show this weekend. Both size 57, same stamps in each; I just posted the clearer of the two.

Are these hats Russian or Ukrainian TTsKO? Are OTK stamps exclusive to Russia, or were they used in other Soviet countries as well? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

These are definitely post-Soviet, and the Russians largely abandoned production of TTsKO/Butane around 1994, so the 95 date would indicate Ukraine most likely.

Thanks for the information! I don't even begin to know how to pull contract/production information from these type labels...

I spotted them poking out of a bin under the dealer's table. Almost like he had them, but didn't want to advertise. I looked around endlessly for any matching shirts or trousers, to no avail.

If the caps are post 1991 and have "PIK" next to the date, they are Ukrainian.

Thanks for your link to the older thread. For some reason I missed the two follow up posts by the Ukrainian guy. Nice details! Dang, I wish he stuck around to pass along more info.

As I said in that old thread, and was said here, you should presume something TTsKO and Soviet looking to be Ukrainian unless there is some definite reason to think otherwise.

I looked at the cap stamp on my desktop - larger image than my phone - and recognized the stamp.

Here are some photos of caps with the same stamps.

The city referenced on the stamps is Ivanovo, Russia.
