Winds of Destruction is an exc book written by a long serving Rhodesian air force pilot (1957-80).
Very interested in this area as I spent a good bit of 1978 there.
I initially thought this would be focused only on RhAF things but he goes into great detail about development of various strategies and weapons systems for Air Force, Police and Army.
A great read with lots on interesting anecdotes, so loads of fun
