Early Flora VDV

Here`s a 1999 Flora summer suit for VDV.
(i was hoping for a 1998 as the seller told me - SOL there\ . yet even a 1999 looks good ,because so far te earliest VDV Flora suit i seen had a 2000 stamp)
May be some collectors have them of earlier dates? Welcome to the show .

The pockets are sewn in all around so look completely flattened that i have not seen either in VSRs or in other Flora suits .
The uniform came from the Ryazan Paratroopers Training School.

This is a very nice set Andrej. I love the early "flora" sets and since this is from the grand VDV it is even more loveable ...
Interesting to see is that the jacket has patches from different periods / years together. The left sleeve "Russia - Armed Forces" patch is even the oldest of this kind from 1993/4 with the straight tricolor ... and the left sleeve patch is from the newer kinds up till early 2010's (before the brand new velcro patch stuff was introduced) ... any how a lovely set nevertheless! thanks for sharing!

Oldgen patches were often added to the newer uniforms . I myself do not remember when the blue Eagle patch was introduced to the VDV cadettes corps in Ryazan so no comments to that ) .

REcently i have had a 1998 VDV VSR93 uniform , i wish i still had it as a comparison item for this old gen Flora )
