Early Flora prototypes from 1993:
The jacket has the same specification code as the Soviet standard field uniform known as the "Afghanka" adopted in 1982, but it seems the manufacturer took some liberties (read: cost-cutting) in the construction. The fabric is coarse, and is designated "3161" which I have not yet seen on any other Russian uniforms. All pockets are buttoned, including the sleeve pouches.
One detail that seems suspicious is the flag patch; this type appeared some time in 1995, but was hand-sewn, so it does not immediately disqualify the 1993 factory date stamp on the uniform itself.
I'm going to compare it to some other VSR patterns in my collection.
