SADF Karrimor

I picked up this pack because it looked very much like the Patt 83 backpack, same colour, same lay out just Karrimor and much lighter with the internal frame.
Looks like it could be a private purchase item.
It says Cheetah 8 on the label but i cant find any info on the net regarding it.
Does anyone know anything about it?

Karrimor was a British company. They closed up, and Karrimor became a civilian backpack manufacturer using Chinese made packs under the karrimor brand while Karrimor SF continued with the military line of products. I think the pack is not made by karrimor. Rather the pack uses Karrimor branded buckles/hardware.

An SA made pack - made by Three Spears in Cape Town (under licence? or maybe not under licenc but using the Karrimor brand) - I have had a few over the years - used by some smaller units in SWA? Angola eg the SADF Marines as well as 906 SSC/ SDK in small numbers. Once I figure out hpw to post pics I will share some period in-use pics.
