3rd pattern jungle jacket. Early one in poplin. This one has theater made nametape. I believe the branch tape was added later. Issue type jump wings on sateen, "Jungle Expert" pocket patch, and 82nd AB patch. This model did away with the shoulder straps, take in tabs, and gas flap. There are 4 variations. Early ones are poplin with neck hanger and large label, next are poplin with hanger and small tag, then poplin and no hanger, finally rip-stop poplin.
This one is poplin with small label(missing) and neck hanger.

3rd pattern in poplin with small label and neck hanger. Dated 67. Early subdued on twill branch tape. WO3 and Aviator wings are issue on sateen. 1st Avn Bde is issue. WO branch is in-country made on ARVN cloth. This one has added shoulder straps made from rip-stop material. I have his nametape off a rotted utility shirt to restore it.

1st pattern
HI. Thanks Jimmy that made me look twice. For some reason I pictured the first pattern as having exposed buttons all the way down the front. Will now check what I have. Jim

Thank you guys! I've had many of these for decades. The plain 2nd pattern and the 1st pattern are both newer aquisitions. The 1st pattern cost me a lot, but I'm pleased with it.

70 dated NOMEX aircrew shirt. This one belonged to a friend of mine. He was a crew chief on one of the Razorbacks. He kept his original pocket patch, mine is a repro. The Snoopy is 1 of a pair he picked up while on R&R in Saigon. His mother had the other one that faced in the opposite direction.
