Current JGSDF field jacket

Recently arrived issue JGSDF field jacket.

This type is made of a Cordura like fabric.  Very rugged and somewhat water resistant, it  is a green dominant type.

Very nice find! Reminds me of a mixture of an M65 and M51. I find it odd that it's in the normal green variation, most field jackets I've seen are the brown dominant.

This type of field jacket to me feels more like a foul weather/ adverse conditions use garment.

Most field jackets I've seen are cotton or a blend containing some cotton.

This one is all synthetics so it does have a good degree foul weather resistance..

Fairly certain that brown dominant field jackets are more akin in fabric type to conventional field jackets.
