The scandal about the Varan uniform contract is interesting. Sad that these things are still happening in Ukraine. But then again, this sort of stuff happens in other countries as well. I'm glad someone is not allowing this to go unpunished.

What about the scandal with "Varan".... These thing (corruption crimes) are, unfortunately, still wide spread in all the spheres of Ukrainian life, and though we have incredible number of anti-corruption bodies and spend billions of national budget Hryvnias on them, the results are still miserable.
It is good that in this separate case the crimials were found and punished.
But the main reason of my efforts, aimed at highlighting the details of the "Varan" scandal is my wish to inform my fellow colleages-collectioners, who are thingking about purchasing this interesting camouflage.
Such guys should pay attention on the names of the manufacturers and the date of production (2015-2016).
I hope some years later "Varan" camouflage sets will comply all the necessary requirements and will be provided to the Ukrainian Armed forces.
In such case purchasing "Varan" camou for one's collection will be pleasant and no-risky.

In the Ukrainian military colleges there are established the so-called weeks of international cuisines.
