Another Multicam variant, and a nice one at that! Does anybody know what the designation is?

Re: newest Romanian pattern
Nice, but youre right it seems there is an massive color-fading or fabric-production problem. On some pics the stuff looks even redish/pinkish.

Re: newest Romanian pattern
It even looks like another maybe- arid pattern. Croatia and Slovenia had the same issues with the digi and multicam stuff.
Thats why I will probably never wash it. The Austrian digi desert stuff currently worn in Lebanon also fades very quickly, a friend of mine serving there
says the uniforms nearly turns to khaki-color after 4 washes. Cost saving production variants are not always a good option when you have to get a new uniform after washing the stuff
4 times.

That makes me sad. I was looking forward to getting some of that.

Re: newest Romanian pattern
Nice find! That's quite a difference between the new and used colors. I'm wondering why there's so many uniforms with the easy fade problem. I had thought, for the most part, quick fading was limited to really crappy made uniforms. I stand corrected

Re: newest Romanian pattern
When you check some recent romanian army pics, the color fadings are a serious problem....Its funny that
they all want to make fancy new uniforms with a new pattern but than use cheap production fabric and methods. One austrian company which produced the
digi desert stuff is already out of business according to some sources....Wondering why

Nice! If I had not known this was Navy I would have thought it to be SRI. Not only because of the colors but because Romania doesn't have a history of distinct uniforms for the different branches. I'm glad to see they've changed, because that's more cool camo to collect

The airforce pattern actually looks even more similar to the SRI urban M94 as far as colors go.

Re: newest Romanian pattern
Now the only question is if those 2 blue patterns have the same fading problems like the woodland uniforms.

So far all the sets I've seen are about the same, fairly new. Soooo maybe? maybe not? Only time will tell.mylle wrote:Now the only question is if those 2 blue patterns have the same fading problems like the woodland uniforms.

Re: newest Romanian pattern
Nice find! I'm guessing the badging is hard to find, yes?
Last week I landed an expanded set of the Air Force stuff (came with a Goretex jacket, I think. It's in Poland at the moment) and need to get badging for it. Any tips?
