I had already shown it in another forum and I think it might be interesting here as well.
I have a winter set in a strange romanian M93 pattern, which looks to be by the colors an urban model.
In Romania, actually, there was an urban camouflage, used by Jandarmeria Română (the military police, or gendarmerie), but it was based on the M90 pattern. Colors changed by production to production (very common among romanian camouflage), but genereally they were based on a grey tone or a blue one.
Here I have this M93 one, which seems totally a military made, it's exactly as the other winter set I have.
A label can be seen on the trousers; unfortunately it has been badly sewn, so it's quite difficult to me to read it, but I'm quite sure that 1996 (..or 1995??) is the year written.
I've never seen this pattern wore by romanian soldiers in any photos, but once I saw it used by a romanian airsoft player.
My conclusion is that was maybe an experimental camo for the romanian police, an attempt to replace the M90 one, that remained unused.
A sort of prototype so.
Do you have other infos about it?
I would be happy to know something more.
Anyway I hope you find it interesting.
