Surrounding a photo of Sobczak on a Jeep in Korea are a 6th Division patch and set of larger Pfc stripes on the left and a 45th Division and another set of larger Pfc stripes on the right. Underneath the photo iare his ribbons for Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct, Army Occupation Medal, Korean War Service, UN Forces Korea, Presidential Unit Citation and Korean Presidential Unit Citation. Also at bottom are his Army Good Conduct, Army Occupation, Korean Service and UN Forces Korea medals. His Infantry and US collar discs are also present as well as 2 overseas bars and a Military Unit Commendation patch.
