Finnish late 1980s loadout

After some digging and discussion with people who served in FDF in the 80s have I found a mistake in my loadout. The blanket I have (red stripes) was meant for medical service, serving soldiers were issued a blanket with blue stripes as in this picture:




The hunt for a Finnish army blanket has commensed.

Under the m62 camo uniform I am wearing the m65 wollen uniform. It was very warm, excellent for the cold Finnish winter!

I finally found a proper wool blanket! It has three blue stripes (middle stripe is narrower compared to the two others) on the blankets upper and lower part. Blanket with red stripes is for medical use (as mentioned in past post). Pictured is the blanket and Finnish army backpack fully packed with correct blanket.


Now all I need is underwear and rubber boots with proper early-mid eighties markings (the ones I have in my collection has the previous owner carved off the yearstamp and tower logo).
