    Dear colleagues,

    I have got a shoulder cord, which looks very similar to the US Army cords, but the colour is unusual, and there is another additional thin cord.

    I tried to find something about this, but I can not find the same one.

    The lanyard which started this thread is for the British Army’s Intelligence Corps. It is worn on No.2 Dress, which is mainly used for parades nowadays. It is purely ornamental now but originates in the lanyards used to fire cannons in the mid 19th century.
