Re: British Bayonet ID Requested
Sanderson Bros & Neubold of Sheffield P1888 Manufactured 3/1893 - Birmingham Inspected
Reissued at least once: looks like "00" which would be 1900
The wood appears to have been replaced by someone other than a skilled armorer and fasteners look suspect. It would not be uncommon for non-military to replace the wood when it cracks and lack the skills to do a proper job: I see this with family heirlooms. Late models MKII/MKIII+ would have a drain hole. The 1903 would not have the squared end on the pommel.

Re: British Bayonet ID Requested
Hi there MyZone,
The bayonet is definitely a Lee Metford Model 1888, but as Core said the wood certainly appears to have been replaced by an unskilled person.
It has also had decades of sharpening and heavy use done to it, which has over the decade removed quite a large amount of the blade size sadly.
Here is my Lee Metford Model 1888 so you can see the difference... I hope this helps out MZ.
