I'm still looking for that style of gas mask carrier. I have the rubberized type, a repaired German canister and a British carrier with the hooks removed and CF marked.

I appreciate the feedback and photos. It can be tough to find Danish items, they are often misidentified online. I'm still hunting down earlier items. I got my most main rifles though M/45E, M/50, M/53, and M/75. I'm still looking for the K98k, No.1 Mk III and No. 3 rifles, according to my research those rifles saw some use early on. Did the Swedish Mausers served in the immediate post war era? I was considering purchasing Madsen LMG magazines.

Was the grey webbing seen very much in the air force? I have two braces, a belt, three brace attachments, L-straps and a small pack. I'm not actively collecting the grey webbing but I buy it as it pops up.

Couple of questions for you experts

What kind of canteen does this soldier have? Swedish maybe?

Its looks like this bayonet scabbard is painted, with paint wearing off. Do you think this is a US scabbard or did the Danes paint scabbards? Or is it just a regular wooden scabbard and I'm seeing things?Danish M45 Webbing? - Page 2 Screen11

The Grey webbing was used by the air force. But I have no idea how much was produced or how much it was used.
In period black and white photos it is almost impossible to distinguish between tan and light grey.

The Swedish Mauser served with the Home Guard the longest.

Some period photos of the K98k in use in the immediate post-war period:

The water bottle in the first photo is indeed a Swedish one.
The soldier in the second photo is issued with the proper bottle the belonged to the M/45-50 equipment. The carbon copy of the British patt.44 water bottle.

I've gotten part of my Civil Defense gas mask set together. I'm still not sure exactly what other small items I still need.

My M/45(E) with C.F. marked filter and bag. The shirt is just to give the mask shape.

    Hello everyone,

I've got three sets of these SAA marked brace attachments as part of lots of Danish webbing. Are they British or Danish in origin?Danish M45 Webbing? - Page 2 20240313

Got a set of braces today and noticed that they have a reduction weave and are marked SOARTILLERIET. They are unlike my other two sets of M45/50? Any idea why or just a normal variation?Danish M45 Webbing? - Page 2 20240321

    They are relatively rare.
Søartilleriet was responsible for procuring, building and designing equipment for the navy (everything apart from the ships themselves)
The brace is most likely part of M45-50 equipment used by land based navy personnel (security, people assigned to the land based naval artillery etc.).

The navy had a land based unit, Kystdefensionen (from 1950/51 known as Kystbefæstningen), responsible for manning the many fortresses and installations dotting the Danish coastline. Kystdefensionen / Kystbefæstningen was disbanded in 1961 because of the development in armaments and tactics.

Søartilleriet was disbanded in 1971, and the responsibilities was transferred to "Søværnets Materielkommando".

Added to my collection today with some neat items. Got these from Camolots, took a few weeks to get everything worked out, but I'm happy with what I got.

Some early ammunition pouches. I'm not sure if they are M/45-50 or another designation.

A flare pistol holster. I'm not sure what type goes in this holster or if they were more commonly worn on a brace or belt.

Some kind of padded hard sided box, I guess for an optical device, like a mortar sight?
