    When this turned up for sale here I had to get a bid in, which was accepted, and it saved me a whole lot of shipping compared to getting it from abroad.

    Am I correct in thinking this is an earlier version of this body armor type? If so, approximately from when to when were these used?
    As I only see the NSN entered databases sometime in 1987, but have no idea how long it took after that to start issueing them.

    I'm not sure there is a difference in pattern between this one or others of the same style.
