BELGIAN MOON&BALLS CAMOUFLAGE HAT

Hello!
I have this hat since many many years, I bought it on Allegro or in some second hand store... don't remember exactly, it costed "peanuts" and I liked it. It shows a lot of wear, with sweat and other staining.
What is interresting- the cap is almost 1:1 patterned after WW2 SS camouflage cap!! Everything- including the distinctive seam on the top! Any ideas fot who could wear it?
The fabric is belgian Moon and balls- but very lightweight. My guess was some "Soldier of fortune" with Waffen-SS roots- tailor made. What do You Guys think?
 

Seems to me to be a fantasy piece ,made after the SS model. Made with old shelter halfs. It does show sweat marks, and the stains on the cap are the same across the different pieces of fabric. Personally, it looks to me like it came from some young guy who made a cap out of old surplus. But that is just a guess, everyone can give their own story to it. Anyway, it is a cool piece of vintage clothing.
