Figured I'd start dumping all my post-WW2 Army uniforms here, along with other odds and ends.
Probably won't post reference pics unless they are pertinent to a specific piece, or unless anybody would like me to.
There won't be any particular rhyme or reason to the order, just as I go through my photo folder and acquire more.
First is a 1st pattern sateen utility shirt, with color 82nd Airborne insignia and SPC ranks, missing the tapes and jump badge.
Another well worn utility, to a Pvt. Weller in the 1st Cav., US Army Japan.
There's evidence of other rank having been sewn on, demoted or a reissued shirt?
I had some 1st Cav in Japan pics but seem to have lost them, dangit.
A couple of matching 2nd Armored Cavalry Division shirts named to Spc. Sylvia, of which there were originally three, I missed the third and sold the one with the unattached ranks to a friend.
Spc. Bartlett, US Army Europe.
A neat modified one, with epaulets and arm pen pockets which I understand to be a common mod for guys stationed in Korea.
It's a small size and heavily tailored in, named to a Japanese-American with a Hangul version beneath.
A pair of 2003 dated CCU trousers made by American Power Source, in a massive XX Large-Long size.
They are pretty well worn with a woodland fabric repair to a belt loop on the inside.
A gun show find, a '91 dated DCU coat badged to a Major in the Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command with Airborne Cavalry and EIB badges.
There was a matching woodland top but the seller wanted a bit much for both so I only got the DCU top.
A 1970 dated 3rd pattern jungle jacket, named to Daugherty in the 3rd ACR.
A curious DBDU coat dated 1990, made by American Apparel, patched to a "Christman" who was Ranger tabbed, 3rd Armored Division, EIB, Senior Jump,
and the only DBDU I've ever seen with a Diver badge.
A commemorative deployment t-shirt given by a family friend.
A 2009 dated UCP A2CU aircrew coat patched to a WO3, Air Traffic Service Command, 1st AD, Air Assault, Combat Action, Army Aviation, and oddly again, an Army Salvage Diver badge.
A UCP ACU coat I was given and sold years ago, had almost all the velcro cut off, was a Medium-Short but I forget the date and maker.
Another one that had a couple of Ranger tabs in the pocket, along with shooting earplugs and some nicotine lozenges.
I have/had other coats and trousers that were unremarkable by having no insignia or unique features which I either didn't photograph
or figured they weren't worth posting.
UCP ACU, SFC, Combat Medical Badge.
A WELL worn set of UCP "Test A's", dated 2007.
An NIB APFU t-shirt.
My friend's spare Coat, All Weather, Man's, dated 2009.
Also from my friend, a couple of Type II Massif combat shirts in Multicam, dated 2014.
He also gave me a stack of Multicam and Scorpion ACU coats with no insignia, but I haven't photo'd any of them.
An OG M65 and RDF coat given by another friend's dad, who was an M60 gunner in the late 70's/early 80's right around the same time my dad was in the Air Force.
Also from my former Army friend, his spare, unworn pair of 2014 dated Readyone Ind. "Army Combat Pant", with the improved belt loops, pockets,
and slots for Crye kneepads.
This was a single DCU top I pulled from a rack of probably at least 30 different DCU and BDU sets all named to this same guy way back around 2016.
There was some variation to the unit insignia and qual badges but I didn't have the money then to grab any more.
A '99 dated grouping gifted to me for Christmas, no names or visible patch ghosts to really be able to tell more about it.
Few years back a seller on ebay somehow found an entire unopened cardboard box of unused Urban Tracks helmet covers and sold them at a reasonable enough price,
managed to grab one though I still don't have an ACH or MICH to properly display it on yet. No markings at all.
Another gift, an otherwise unimpressive '99 ripstop hot weather BDU coat that had its missing California National Guard patch in the pocket.
My friend's spare JLIST set, dated 2008. Interesting that 3 Color Desert was (is?) still in use with NBC gear as late as 2019 when he gave it to me.
A 1973 L-2B Light Zone flight jacket, custom decorated by the 1st Cavalry, 15th Medical Battalion, Vietnam UH-1 crew chief veteran MSgt. Marco Antonio Estrella Endara,
who sadly passed away in 2016.

Another L-2B, made by Alpha in '79. Named to Cecil, with a metallic sage lining rather than the bright orange like on the 1973 example.
A Louisville ''Spring Up'' Ridgeway Cap with a Lt. Col.'s rank.
The first BDU I ever got, patched for the 13th Sustainment Command and strangely with 2003 dated white silk tags which sadly washed away.
An '85 top, 40th Mechanized Infantry.
'81 white tag.
A couple of (M1947?) 13 star button shirts that belonged to my step-grandpa, who served in the late 40's as an engineer.
One appears to have had the pockets replaced, there's no legible markings left on them.
A couple of M-1951 coats, the "La Plant" coat is dated '59.
An M1951 Shirt, Wool, Cold Weather named to Rice, 8th ID, Airborne, with Fallschirm Wings and EIB.
A '74 Alpha M65 with some unusual patches; 56th Artillery Brigade, Pershing Missile System, Jungle Expert, and commemorative Nijmegen 100 Mile Marches, 1978.
An OG-107; Spc. Hartley, 101st Airborne, 1st Army.
Another 107; 82nd Airborne, Basic Jump, Canadian Jump, Jungle Expert, and a neat 18th Airborne Corps RECONDO patch.
A '78 OG-507 Utility Shirt; Huch, 2nd Armored Division, "Superior Crew" award patch.
A black/woodland ripstop Polartec (SPEAR Layer 4?) fleece jacket I got from a First US Army vet.
A 2004 dated UCP ACU coat with tan tags
2003 UNICOR Wind Resistant Poplin UCP ACU coat with unique rounded collar.
2012 and '13 dated UCP ACU coats in the improved cut typically associated with the new Scorpion camo.
Unworn 2008 Massif UCP combat shirt with the logo on the front, which was later removed to my understanding.
A UCP ECWCS GEN III Jacket, Wind, Cold Weather, dated 2007.
2008 UCP M65 coat. From what I've read these were only made by Golden Mfg., with three awarded contracts in 2004, 06, and 08.
A 2009 American Apparel UCP-D coat. Came with a 101st patch and U.S. Army tape in Multicam colors in the pocket, but I don't think
they were original to the coat.
2000 dated woodland Aircrew Combat Coat; 101st Airborne, 1st Armored Division, Army Aviation, Air Assault.
'99 dated woodland M65; Howell, Aircrew, Air Assault, 82nd Airborne, 101st Airborne.
A DCU coat; Spc. in the 10th Mountain, 101st Airborne, CIB, Air Assault.
Not entirely directly Army service related but close enough; an M65 I got from the estate of a man who worked at the Lima Army Tank Plant.
And last for now, my first RDF coat (that I really need to take a new pic of)
'78 dated with 82nd Airborne, EIB, Air Assault, and Jungle Expert badges.
More to come later, enjoy!
