Hi admin, sorry for starting a new thread.

[Introduction]

Let me re-introduce myself, my name is Zhen.
I'm the person behind https://www.instagram.com/frownland_archive/

First of all, I want to thank Mr. Ken Konboy (a legendary author), many of my collections are previously his personal collection.
Mr. Ken assisted Camopedia and wrote a book titled ELITE, which is considered a 'bible' in Indonesia militaria.
Is because of his work, we can continue truly enjoy collecting and keeping the history alive.

Me myself, just a regular salaryman that into militaria collecting.
Still putting together many missing pieces, and my items are not for sale.

1. Pre-Darah Mengalir Camouflage
I believe this is the first print and procured from Hongkong. I've never seen another similar to this.



2. First Print Darah Mengalir Camouflage
First print and as seen in the 1964 parade (the first time RPKAD introduced this camouflage).
Double-sided, in heavyweight cotton.



3. Four-pocket Kopassandha-era Jacket
Double-sided 4-pocket jacket.



4. Kopassandha-era Uniform Set
This set was presented to Mr. Ken by then-Colonel Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in June 1988 (Complete w/ paperwork from pak Ken).
My best guess is these are not made in Indonesia (look at the different colors being used in printing)



5. Kopassandha-era Coverall (Modified)
A nice coverall made from a 2-piece uniform set. With all original patches.



6. Kopassus-era, Private-purchased Uniform Set
This set was purchased in internal Kopassus "Koperasi", a private PX store.



7. Resimen Pelopor Brushstroke (Japan-made)
Procured from Japan, made in 1976-1977 for their first deployment in Timor.
Attributed to I Dewa Santika (An early Balinese member)
Fabric is HBT and print patterns is overlapped.



8. Resimen Pelopor Brushstroke (Indonesia-made)
The only known local-copy of this pattern, made by PD. Bhara Abadi, Semarang, Indonesia.
Printed in Twill and the pattern is not overlapping.



9. Brimob 60s Jacket
Collar removed, a very nice example of "Macan Tutul" version



10. Menpor 1966 Vertical Camouflage/Darah Mengering Set
Menpor's unique vertical camouflage set, known as Loreng Darah Mengering or Dried Blood Camouflage



11. Menpor 1966 Vertical Camouflage in 4-pocket Jacket
Unknown, possibly made in Japan.



12. Menpor Macan Tutul Camouflage
This pattern is often referred to as Menpor Camouflage, just another version



13. 32 Airborne Battalion Unique Camouflage
32 Airborne Battalion Unique Camouflage used in 1967-69



14. Gegana Poso Camouflage
My personal favorite, super rare!
These were made during first half of 2014 (designed in 2013) with only 1.500 meters of cloth available.
Mr. Ken personally designed the camouflage and manage the productions (Pants, Vest, Combat Shirt, Jungle Hats),
All of it was for Poso.



15. KOPASGAT 1st Print Vertical Smock
KOPASGAT unique vertical stripe pattern, this is the first 1969-print in jump smock.
Attributed to H. Suy, the first increment that trained at Djatiwangi in June 1966



16. KOPASGAT 2nd Print Vertical Smock
2nd-print made by CV. Gelora in Jakarta, in size XL (maybe private purchased)



17. KOPASGAT 3rd Print Vertical Smock
3rd-print jump smock camouflage before switching to British DPM uniform.



18. PASKHAS 4th Print Current Camouflage.
This one is revived around 2000, to be used in ceremonial purposes only.
Set was given to Mr. Ken by Then-Colonel Embu ((Complete w/ paperwork)



19. IFGABA NOS Set
IFGABA NOS set, Late production with no-reinforcement pads. Dated 84/85.



20. IFGABA "Muted" Print
I call this a Muted tone print, notice the green base color. Dated 83/84



21. IFGABA in Twill Print
Printed in twill cloth, complete color differences.



22. IFGABA grouping attributed to Military Police
Big grouping attributed to Mudjiyono. IFGABA is dated 82/83, an early print.



23. IFGABA attributed to Puguh Santoso
A classic IFGABA camouflage attributed to Kapten Czi Puguh Santoso,
The First EOD Army Company Commander in 1986-1987.



24. Early HK-procured Camo
Early HK procured spot camouflage, is very early. The patches are stripped, so I don't know for what unit



25. Kodam XII/Tanjungpura Unique Camouflage
Kodam XII/Tanjungpura covering West Kalimantan unique camouflage



26. Indonesia Contingent 4-pocket Jacket
Indonesia Contingent Peacekeeping camouflage jacket modified to be suitable for cold dessert nights in Sinai, Egypt (1970s)



27. Indonesia Contingent Spot Camouflage
Indonesia Contingent Peacekeeping camouflage shirt made by CV. Gelora, patched.



28. Early 60's KOSTRAD Spot Camouflage
Early Spot Camouflage, in 2-pocket jacket style. It's private purchased.



29. KKO 1983-1984 Spot Camouflage Set
KKO use this camouflage in 1983-1984, the spot is bigger than usual previous prints.



30. Unknown Spot Camouflage
Unknown unit, but 100% military, private-purchased.



31. 1st Print KOPASKA Camouflage Jacket
2006 first print KOPASKA camouflage, private-purchased.
This jacket was presented by Pessy Fuerzas (West Fleet) to Mr. Ken



32. 2nd Print KOPASKA Camouflage Set
No need for further introduction, this set was early made by PT. Inti Mustika Karyatama.
The set was presented to Mr. Ken by Laksda Ribut Eko Suyatno.



33. Early Print Malvinas Camouflage
Early adoption print of British DPM, notice the green colour is more like sand colour. (Dated 86-97)



34. Later Print Malvinas Camouflage
Very early 90-91 2nd print of British DPM.
This particular jacket has a very cool modification, buttons are replaced by velcro and zipper.
It's for operational use.



35. Private-purchased Malvinas Camouflage Jacket
Commercial garment using Malvinas Camouflage.



36. 2003 Raider Camouflage Set
The real deal, 2003 dated Raider Camouflage set only issued to the 10 Raider Battalion in December 2003 before saw used in Aceh.



37. KOSTRAD Wine-Leaf Camouflage
KOSTRAD Wine-Leaf camouflage based on Mitchell Camo.



38. Unknown Camouflage Jacket
Some are saying this is another version of OPR camouflage



39. OPR Camouflage Jacket
Usual OPR camouflage pattern in 4-pocket Jacket.



40. Early Kopassandha-era All Printed Patch
A super rare, original badged shirt with early printed patches.



41. Kopassandha-Era Shirt
Classic patched shirt attributed to Warno, Kopassandha-era.

Even though I do not collect Indonesian uniforms any more, I am still interested in them.  Thanks for the comprehensive documentation!  Now that I know many of your examples came from Ken Conboy that explains why your collection is so broad and high quality!

I looked through my reference pictures for anything unusual that might add to this thread.  Here is another example of #25 Kodam XII/Tanjungpura Unique Camouflage. Maybe the badging will be of help to you:

You are welcome! Unfortunately, I do not have much to contribute to this discussion. Even when I had many Indonesian uniforms I did not know much about them.

Please let me know if you known anyone that willing sell that camo, I've only seen three so far! haha

Hi, thanks! I only have one paramilitary-political group pattern, it's not my forte.

The number 3 picture is from Forum Komunikasi Putra-Putri Purnawirawan (FKPPI), the old political group print.

This is mine, an early print of Pemuda Panca Marga (“PPM”) group.
Since I live in Indonesia, it's quite "sensitive" for me to own political camouflage.

Hello Sir! i didn't notice until now, the right one is slanted pocket. Maybe a newer version (mine is dated 2013). I will try to capture a newer version if there are any "hand-signature" and "mosquito" printed into the camouflage.

46. Indonesia Loreng Layar or KRI.
This may not look like much, but this is very scarce printed-on twill cotton made by Sritex in 2017 that was only handed to a few people and not widely issued.

1. Darah Mengalir M65 Cut Jacket
Also dubbed as the "Instructor" jacket, early 80s to mid-90s.


2. Darah Mengalir 2nd Print, early-mid 60s


3. Darah Mengalir Kopassandha era set, late 70s to mid 80s


4. Darah Mengalir 4 pocket, misprint


5. (Possibly) IFGABA Test Print
I believe this is the pattern that submitted in 1976 and got rejected.


6. IFGABA T-shirt
As seen often used in East Timor


7. Siliwangi Pattern?
This is not OPR camouflage, Siliwangi camouflage have the very same pattern print but different colors.


8. KOSTRAD Mitchell / Daun Anggur
4-pocket with single snap buttons. This is the true seroja-cut, very rare.


9. Indonesian DPM / Loreng Malvinas
Kodim 1635/Covalima, East Timor. Color is very strange, almost like Iraqi DPM.


10. KOPASGAT Jump Smock
Never get tired of this, many print patterns.


11. Marines / Loreng PBB


12. KOPASKA 1st print Loreng BDU-cut


13. Brimob Recon Coverall
Often used in East Timor 1980s deployment, made from twill. I have the HBT version also.


14. Last Brimob Macan Tutul Loreng
This colorway is the last print used by Brimob in late 90s.
