Saber is 100% commercial. However, that doesn't mean it wasn't ever unofficially used. I bought some stuff off of a German KSK dude many years ago and he said they hated Saber because the quality didn't stand up to field use. I had a Saber Wüstentarn (the non-standard desert) many years ago and for sure the cloth felt like it wouldn't last very long.

Yes, I have bought recently their sf Mk3 smock in tropentarn, but once arrived, it feels odd to the touch, (a bit plastic like, and that while there is a high cotton count in the tissue) and those canadian buttons are pretty far away from the tissue, so for example the storm flap will not close correctly.
and I like the big zipper.
other than that, it feels from the beginning comfortable, sort of "hugging" me Haha.
    63% cotton, 33% polyester and 4% nylon.
