thanks a lot!. I must contact now with some editorials in Spain. I have just a few copies (9) in a "first edition" for spanish collectors, because it´s really very expensive (in lux paper -100 grms - hight resolutions pictures the net price for copy is 86,70 € , and the cheapest option is in paper 80 grs - hight resolutions pictures, with a net price of 69,50 €, plus shipping -it´s 165 pages in DIN-A4 format), so will be better wait a few.

Have you considered copyrighting it, putting it on cd in adobe acrobat? This would reduce costs tremendously.

Yes, this is the "B - option" but the book it´s heavy enought and I have troubles when I converted the word in pdf. I´m talking about with a designer to try to make the CD´s. I have the copyright and this is a cheapest option but... i prefer the book ;-)

I have a lot of experience with printing specialized books here in the US. I have never done a full color publication, but I would be interested in helping with this. I can also have the text translated to English by a Spanish Army friend of mine who is also a collector (WW2 stuff). He speaks fluent English and can translate technical language without errors.

Wow Steve, that´s sound great!! I´m absolutelly sure that this short work is very very interested (I told with a lot of veterans and have very interested informations about the uniforms, some of them really amazings (The official or unnofficial names of some of them) and probably some patterns that just a few of collectors know (i.e. the new M-08 an urban camouflage uniform used for the GEO -really very hard to see and obviously impossible to obtain :-( ). If your friend can translade spanish - english shall be excellent, so just give time to think about it

Ok, even we have our differences, I have to congratulate you. Even if you need any help with patterns of my own you need for your book I don´t mind to give you the information and photos. Of course I don´t need to appear in book, just free information or database. As much complete it is, better for every uniform lovers, and I am not interested in nothing more than being useful, not any mention to my name if needed anything.

I am actually working with Spanish Lergion museum of Spanish Brigade, perhaps I am keeping most my collection there (not like a present, but like a temporary cesion and collaborate with them in documentation register, talked aswell of possibility of writting a book about Legion Uniform and emblems history)

Solideo Thanks, any help is always welcome!. It had been a lot of years searching the different spanish patterns as well as information and I would likt that this book shall be the starting point to sort and classify the different camouflage patterns in Spain.
A temporal cesion is an excellent idea also for your amazing collection. Nowhere better than in a museum.

A short mail to let you know that since dec 31st 2009 it´s official the NEW PIXELATED spanish uniform (desert/ woodland). The new contingent for afghanistan will use them (the uniform were distributing the las Jan 15th 10. Right now it´s IMPOSSIBLE TO OBTAIN but I hope obtain some of them shortly.

Finally... THE BOOK. 176 pages, DIN A 4 with more than 400 pictures. I´m offering the spanish edition in ebay -item 140476758920 // 35 euros plus shipping- (by the moment is the only option -I edited by myself the book and it was really very very very expensive (I prefered the best quality).
