I'd say an issue item. Given the recent US and UK adoption of this type of garment, it's not surprising that the ADF decided to follow suit.

Platatac did made 3 cutting of it , but only see one now on their website , another one i forgot the name of the other one , they did selling on ebay before , but i can't find that anymore . the picture is a big guy being a model and wearing that undershirt.

Well, sometimes my contact shoots a bit too fast.
This morning I received another email from him telling me that the pictured shirt were infact bought by Defence solely for the Australian gunners attached to the British on Op Herrick (new rotation just went downrange).
Unfortunately he wouldn't mentioned Defence's source!!!

I must say I have a hard time believing that they are issued *solely* to the RAA gunners attached to the Royal Artillery .. I have a mate just deployed with the grunts in the current rotation, I will check with him ...
