French Parachute Jacket from a Dien Bien Phu Vet

This was given to me many years ago by a gentleman who was in the FFL in the 50's. He had jumped into Dien Bien Phu and was evacuated after being wounded. He had been hit in the side by shrapnel from Viet Minh Artillery. This is one of his jackets he had at that time.

Ironically the OD version of the mle58 is harder to find than the camo version from what I can tell. Note that this isn't a uniform specific to paras, but they certainly did wear this type.
