I would like to show one of my favorite piece of my colection.
Is the Auschwitz Cross medal, known as "Krzyż Oświęcimski", who was granted to prisoners who was survive from the holocaust, more exactly who survive from Auschwitz KZ. Was granted between 1985 to 1999.
In the main front, appear a red triangle with the P of Pole, and a decoration of a wire fence of thorns.
And in the back part, this medal have the inscriptions "PRL PRL / WIEZNIOM / HITLEROWSKICH / OBOZOW KONCENTRACYJNYCH, the translation does mean "Citizens from polish republic to prisoners of concentration camps"
This is the document of the medal, where put the name of the owner. "Stanislaw Szlaga".
I looked for the owner on Auschwitz prisoners list, and he appears there.
