    Sweet! You're a lucky man.

From pics it appears they made a MOLLE set in UCP-D and possibly Interceptor. But I only have a few pics and it is difficult to tell for sure.

As for the chestrig, I have my doubts this was an issued item. However, the special contract number does appear to match the other items, so perhaps it was intended for the field and never got there?

Here are some pics of use in Afghanistan:

    Steve,

Those body armors are IOTV, not IBA. The chest rig is an issue item.

    A pic of ACU version:

I hope there is more pieces to find , however the reddish soil in Afghanistan makes some pieces look like UCP-D when they get dirty , I want to see actual items , and yes the racks may have never made it over there , mine was new in the package , but it is an issue piece not commercial or repo , I have not seen any repo items to date , and if there were they would be all over ebay .

Steve H, they didn't make pouches in UCP-D so it seems like soldiers made do by paint it. Take a look at the first reference photo carefully, you will notice what appeared to be brush stroke of diluted brownish/reddish paint.

There's quite a few of those UCP-D chestrigs on eBay lately, all brand new. So either they never made it over there or a bunch were left here and are making their way through the surplus system.

Thanks for the correction on the IOTV. For some reason my head refuses to "upgrade" to IOTV from IBA Smile

Paint/dye is a possibility. I had the same thought, especially regarding the soldier on the left in the first pic. The second pic is too dark and low res to tell for sure what is going on there. Third pic is similar, but with the likely added issue Steve H brought up about the redish dirt being rubbed in.

JESUS -- that's an even better deal than I thought! Twisted Evil

How much did the helmet covers go for? I'm looking into getting an ACH and would love a UCP-D to go with it, but don't know if the seller has more.

Hey guys sorry for the necro, but if anyone is round the Fort bragg area there are a few surplus stores with some UCP-d in them, I personally witnessed an airborne troop bringing a set in (while I was walking out) and he mentioned to me he had a whole box of them in his closet, that his team dumped them all on him. The surplus store was Old Sarge's in spring lake, so there might be a chance he will bring in the rest he had in that box to sell there.

I would have brokered a deal but one of the ladys came out and got onto me and him about doing business in the parking lot lol. I almost had a set of UCP-D and a orc pcu L5 in my hands lol. But yeh if your in the area hit up old sarge's surplus.

On an off topic note I found a ABS-G combat shirt there, 70 bucks, impossible to find so well worth it, brand new too.
