Lizard Pattern Uniform Empty Lizard Pattern Uniform

    Post by Camo_fiend Wed Mar 16, 2011 7:34 pm

Picked up the whole uniform for $25. No tags/stamps/marks whatsoever, except for a tag in the trousers that says "36 38", which is definitely NOT the size; measured and they're about a 30" waist.

I know the pattern and cut are definitely French-influenced. Quality is great, but I'm stumped as to what they really are. My guess is an extremely well-done reproduction? Anyone have any ideas?

That looks almost identical in layout to the TAP47/56 French smock.. Am I wrong?

Thanks for the input, guys. All I know for sure is that the pattern is French-influenced, but not much else. I don't really have much knowledge about French camouflage or uniforms, though. Laughing

It looks like there might have been a tag in the collar seam that was sliced off?

Whatever it is, you did extremely well with the price for what you got.

They are metal snaps painted in a subdued green colour. I will get a photo of the back of the jacket uploaded tomorrow.

I hadn't noticed anything resembling a tag that had been cut out, but now that you mentioned it, I'll check it out.

It seems to have the same layout as the TAP56 smock, but the proportions seem off. The buttons are too big, spaced closer together and the whole uniform seems to be "pinched", narrower including the pockets.

    Hello
The pattern is the same derivative French F2 pattern as the pant of Danilo : https://iacmc.forumotion.com/t4356-francophone-lizard-pants

Thanks Gilles! So it is a "Francophone" pattern... now to just guess where from. Laughing
