    My few recent purchases:

1950 pattern Combat Cap, used but not in bad condition (spot the belgian sausage-skin camo in the background Very Happy )

    British hats DSCF1604
and in Korea with the A&SH:
    British hats Britishsoldier

A 1950-dated dark Blue Royal Artillery officer's beret:

    British hats DSCF1605

    What do you think?

    Nice hats there.

While the badge is British is the beret British?

Know it has the Broad Arrow but not seen that maker before?

Hmmmm... I'm pretty sure it is British - aside from the badge/colour etc. - I don't believe any other country uses/used imperial rather than metric size measurements!

Sorry to be pernickety but the cap in the photo worn by the A&SH is actually an American pile cap. The British combat cap was not issued until 1953.
The beret is definitely British - one of several manufacturers of midnight blue berets.
