Given the WW2 type camo print i was surprised when this arrived to see it was labelled as a 1959 Pattern as i thought it would have been a 1946 Pattern

Ebay.
I know there are 2 distinct cammo patterns of these 59Patt Denisons but never seen one in this pattern before only the WW2 and 1946 Patts.

Yep,its massive even though its been taken in-tailored at the rear.
Kind of peeved it isnt the 46 Patt i thought it was but still a nice surprise when i saw the label.
Shame i cannot make out any date on it even though some 59 Patt Smocks have dates, others not.

doubt i will with this as its the only 1 of this type of cammo i have that fits well with my other Denisons-Original WW2 1st pattern,46 patt and a couple of 59 patts in both cammo types.
I do have a spare 59 patt that could go-complete and all there but tatty-well used.

Good point Rich, this does seem to be the case, I can remember buying many Jackets for a quid or two, not the case now
